A Temperature Chart project #3

I have actually done this and it is fascinating.

Ask your kids to pick a time of day. Let’s say 4:00pm,after school time. Then have them make note of the temperature. They can use a weather channel or a well placed thermometer.( Keep it in the shade.)

Every day for a year, note the temperature at the same time.

When the year ends ,a chart can be made.Using graph paper, I put days across the top and temperatures down the side to create a line chart. By connecting the dots, you get a view of the weather that is remarkable!

Who knows, you may interest them in meteorology?

Makes a great science project for next Spring also!
